IPL - The hunter will become the hunted
The IPL organizers feel they are GOD and can control the beast they have unleashed. Many times the beast take a life of their own and start controlling their masters. The hunter becomes the hunted. The foreign stars are already making their presence felt. They are the ones who are making the IPL a great success. What will IPL be without them? The Indian stars have created competition for themselves. They are already stars in India so the only thing they gain from this is lots of money. The foreign players who were not adored much in India are becoming Indian stars. I can foresee them coming in more advertisements replacing many of the Indian stars.
Harbhajan and Sreesanth have already made fools of themselves. The Australians will be gleefully enjoying the spat between. They can now ask who are better sportsperson Indians or Australians. The foreign players are playing professional cricket and sharing their knowledge with the Indians.
The good things about IPL is the opportunity the young players are getting. India will definitely benefit from this. The deadwood of Indian cricket has been exposed and a lots of hidden talent has been unearthed.
